Our Team

Sarah is CSR Manager at Hymans Robertson and was directly involved in the development and delivery of the initial financial literacy programme from 2015 onwards. Sarah joined the Foundation as a Trustee in 2018, before being appointed Secretary in 2019.

Sarah is responsible for Governance, Operations and Oversight and works closely with the Board and CEO, our charity partners and other stakeholders, making sure we are fulfilling our duties and delivering on strategy and impact. Her role at Hymans Robertson provides a strong link between the firm and the Foundation, supporting their shared goals of volunteering and community involvement for impact.

Marjory is a Personal Assistant at Hymans Robertson, where she has worked since 1995, and has been involved with the Foundation since early 2020.

Marjory provides key administrative and secretarial support for the Foundation. She works closely with Sarah Gilmour and Marcella Boyle, organising and managing scheduling and calendar priorities as well as supporting ad hoc and strategic projects. Her role includes liaising with charity partners and other stakeholders of the Foundation.

Rachel joined the Board in 2021.
Rachel is an experienced youth and community worker and a passionate advocate for children and young people’s rights and empowering young people to act as drivers and decision makers. She is Director of an independent, participatory democracy organisation supporting governments, communities and people to re-think power and shape the decisions that will impact them. Rachel brings her experience, passion and knowledge to supporting the Foundation’s mission for positive impact on young people’s lives.

Lucy Steers is Head of Brand and a partner at Hymans Robertson. Lucy and her team have worked closely with the Foundation over the past five years to support the Foundation’s marketing and communications efforts, extending this support to some of our charity partners too. Having had the opportunity to meet various charity partners over the years and hear first-hand about the impact the Foundation’s support, she was delighted to be appointed to the Board of Trustees in September 2022.

Lucy is passionate about giving back to the communities we work in and is a huge advocate for volunteering as a means of helping the Foundation achieve its goals.

Graham joined the Foundation as Treasurer in September 2016. As Head of Finance at Hymans Robertson, Graham has volunteered his time and skills to overseeing our financial activity, ensuring the long-term viability of our commitments and helping the Board fulfil its financial governance duties.

Graham brings insight into our strategic planning and as well as being a real advocate for the importance of financial capability. He is also a great supporter of giving back to our communities.

Gill is People Director and a partner at Hymans Robertson and sits on its Management Board and Partnership Council. Gill was part of the inaugural Foundation Board of Trustees and played a key role in determining our strategy and guidelines. She has supported the expansion of the volunteering policy at Hymans Robertson to three days and ensures volunteering is endorsed and encouraged throughout the firm.

Gill has volunteered her time to work with some of the young people supported by the Foundation’s charity partners and is an ardent champion of the Foundation’s goals.

Tracey first joined the Hymans Robertson Foundation as a Trustee in 2017, having previously been a Trustee for two small charities in the northeast of England. After re-joining Hymans in April 2022, she returned to the Trustee Board in October 2022. As an accountant within Hymans Robertson’s Third Party Administration, she supports the Foundation’s Treasurer with the financial activity of the Foundation, and also has responsibility for reviewing the matched funding requests that are submitted by staff across the firm.

Tracey is based in the Birmingham office and has been involved in a number of volunteering events over the years as well as fundraising activities such as the Three Peaks Challenge, which she undertook in 2019. She strongly believes in giving young people opportunities to grow and supporting local communities across the UK.

Paul is Head of DC Markets and a partner at Hymans Robertson and was delighted to join the Foundation as a Trustee in June 2023.

Paul’s role at Hymans means he regularly engages with large organisations across the UK and pays particular focus to their CS&R initiatives and the value they deliver for society. Paul is passionate about the work of the Foundation in helping disadvantaged young people, and uses his volunteering hours in initiatives aligned to this.

Peter Carver was appointed as a Trustee in June 2023 and has recently been appointed as Chair of the Foundation’s Volunteering Sub-committee.
He is an Actuarial Consultant at Hymans Robertson, and has supported the Foundation for many years. Peter brings a wealth of experience and analytical skills to the Board, drawing on his time advising clients in the third sector, and also as a foundational trustee for another community-based charity. As a pensions consultant, Peter is a strong believer in the importance of helping people secure better financial futures.
Outside of his work and trusteeship, Peter is a regular attendee at his local church where he runs the Audio-Visual team, and spends much of his spare time playing with his young daughter.

Rise joined the Board in April 2023 in their first role as a co-optee board member. Rise is a Barnardo’s Young Person ambassador, and champions the voice of young people, working alongside Foundation colleagues to ensure that we continue to deliver services which have impact and support young people to secure a strong financial future.
Rise was an online advocate for young people's mental health from early 2020 to 2022 before stepping away from direct social media, and now focuses on applying their personal experience with UK’s mental health services to break down barriers and dismiss misinformation. Rise actively encourages others to be the voice they wished they saw online and now offers one-one support.

Atta is an Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Manager, experienced in developing and delivering EDI strategies in the third sector. Atta was appointed to the Foundation’s trustee board in April 2023. A respected community figure in relation to tackling inequalities, Atta is passionate about campaigning and educating to combat racism, and enabling the removal of both real and perceived barriers, particularly in relation to under-represented groups. Atta is keen to use his experience to help drive the Foundation’s EDI focus and its aim to positively impact the lives of young people across the UK.

Abhishek is Head of Investment Solutions at Hymans Robertson. He moved into the pensions industry to have greater impact and societal purpose in his role within financial services and is delighted to join the Trustee Board and sees the opportunity to work with the Foundation as a valuable extension of this goal.
Abhishek has been involved with volunteering and charities over the years and feels passionately about mental health in particular.

Victoria joined the Insights & Impacts Sub-Committee in 2023 and is excited to take on the role of its Chair in 2024.
Starting her career in the third sector as a Youth Worker, she has always been focused on the wellbeing of young people's lives. In her role as Learning and Development Manager for a national intermediary, Victoria supports charitable organisations across the UK and beyond with their infrastructure, resources and training.
Completing her Social Innovation Masters in 2021, she is passionate on supporting organisations to be sustainable, collaborative in tackling social issues, and to grow confidence in their impact measurement. Victoria will apply these skills to the Foundation’s mission for positive impact on young people’s lives.
