The Foundation is celebrating its 10th anniversary. We’re looking for two new Trustees to join our Board and help strengthen our structure and governance as we head into our next chapter.

Since 2016, we’ve supported communities across the UK, investing almost £2 million in grants to charities helping young people into better futures and communities facing disadvantage.  More information on our impact can be found in our Annual Report.

Now in year 7 of our 10-year strategy, we’re focused on scaling our impact—particularly helping young people aged 11–25 build financial security and access employment opportunities.

Why join us?

As a Trustee, you’ll play a key role in shaping the strategic direction and ensuring strong governance of the Foundation. You’ll be part of a collaborative Board committed to making a meaningful and measurable difference. Please view Meet Our Board & Team.

We’re especially keen to strengthen the diversity of perspectives on our Board, so that it better reflects the communities we support.

  • A passion for improving life chances and reducing inequality

Have fundraising or income-generation experience

  • Ability to support and challenge how we grow and sustain our funding over time

And more broadly:

  • Sound judgement and an ability to think strategically
  • A collaborative and inclusive approach
  • Commitment to the Foundation’s purpose and values

This is a voluntary role (reasonable expenses covered). The expected commitment includes:

  • Up to 4 Board meetings per year (hybrid)
  • One in-person annual strategy session

Why this matters
